Join nonprofit organization PowerMyLearning for an interactive session describing how school leaders can leverage student-teacher-family relationships to accelerate learning recovery. PowerMyLearning has more than 20 years of experience partnering with schools to strengthen the “triangle of relationships” to support social emotional learning and academic success for all students. Research shows that connecting families to curriculum can result in up to 8 months of additional student learning per year. Participants will receive a free copy of PowerMyLearning’s Framework for Teachers and discuss how to integrate effective family engagement into key aspects of teacher practice (such as classroom culture and data-driven instruction).
