As we enter into spring, Charter Schools should not only focus on the upcoming state assessments, but also starting the budgeting process for next year. Join budget experts Rich Moreno, President of Services at Building Hope and Curtis Fuller, EDD of Florida Charter Institute, who will present tips and best practices for the budgeting process. The presentation will cover timelines for completing your budgets as well as ideas on how to ensure your budget process stays focused on the educational needs of your school and students. Curtis Fuller will also present the updated version of the Charter Support Unit's Budget Template Tool to help you build and balance your budget.
The CSU offers webinars, typically on Tuesday afternoons or Thursday mornings, to assist school leaders with their professional development, and the operations of the charter school. The CSU is a free support network operated by Building Hope in partnership with the United States Department of Education through a federal dissemination grant, a Walton Foundation grant, and the Florida Department of Education through a state appropriation. Our primary mission is to serve all charter schools in their first five years of operation. The CSU also provides many free services to more established charter schools across the country, including our free professional webinar series.
